Biomate 160 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer


Use the automatic and networkable Thermo Scientific™ BioMate™ 160 ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer to perform quantitative measurements in the life science laboratory. The BioMate 160 spectrophotometer provides pre-programmed assay methods for nucleic acid and protein concentration and cell culture measurement. The platform is optimized for usability and performance, with a high-resolution color touch screen, optional Wi-Fi network, and rugged design.



The BioMate UV-Vis spectrophotometer provides high-throughput options and automated functions for indoor light fastness, allowing opening operations to improve speed and convenience. The software includes Pre-programmed life science method, such as Nucleic Acid A260; protein A280 and A205; protein colorimetric method and OD600.

A full set of accessories, including automatic cell changer and battery holder, pipette and fiber optic probe, are designed to simplify sampling and adapt to high-throughput measurement and temperature control.
